I've just found 3 NOS Bosch vacuum advance cans to replace those on early VW distributors. They seem to cover most models from 60 to 67, including type 3s. Here's what I have: 1 237 121 201 fits most VWs from 60-4 1 237 121 204 fits most VWs from 65-6 1 237 121 210 fits 67. I know that these include the correct parts for the 66 and 67 type 3 with dual Solex carbs. If someone out there needs one for an earlier car I can research it deeper. If you need one, let me know what your vehicle is and I'll double check to see if I have what you need. Prices vary from $25-35. Of course I also have most of the vacuum cans for later type 3s with FI.
