[T3] redrilling drums and rotors

<x-flowed>i have never had redrilling done so i have a question.

is it possible to have our rotors (or drums) redrilled for the newer vw 4 
bolt pattern (104mm or something) and leave the other four holes for 
flexibility? this way you could put some current and affordable wheels on 
our cars, and still have the old lou holes for a stock spare or if you 
wanted to go back. would this weaken the drum/rotor? i have no idea if you 
could get wheels with the right offsets or anything, but i got some wheels 
and tires installed on my 91 gti for $1200, that's cheaper than i have ever 
seen any 5 lug porsche wheels.
