Welcome! First and foremost, you need to buy a Bentley. It will answer
virtually all stock questions. Next manual to get would then be a Haynes,
especially if you are working with stock carbs that have been transplanted to
your engine.
A manual is NOT an option when performing work on a vehicle by yourself! It
is an essential tool and it must be the first tool you purchase!! I'm glad
you've got the Idiot's Guide as that's a step in the right direction.
