Re: [T3] New Squareback. New Subscriber.

Wow! Thanks for the welcome.
=>Carbed or injected:

Dual Carbs. Is adjusting the timing and mixture
explained in the idiot's guide. I've always had the
impression that was better left up to the pros but I
would rather do it myself if at all possible. I'll
need to learn these things anyway.

=>Did it seem loose when you pulled it out?

It didn't seem loose, but I didn't really have to
muscle it out either.
=>Wrong Parts? Do you mean maybe it was the wrong type
of starter?

=>Just Primer:

I keep the square in my garage so it is not exposed to
moisture. The guy who owned it before had it for eight
years and I'm not sure how long the primer was on out
of those eight. Just by running my hand over the
primer though it seems course. I'll probably need to
re-apply. Will stripping and re-applying be difficult?
 Special equipment needed?

=>Paint First:

I thought that with all the work that still needs to
be done I might run the risk of damaging the paint if
I get it done first. I guess that's why they make car
covers huh? :)

Thanks a lot Steve for the good advice...
