Greg, I have set and reset the idle speed to 850 once the engine has warmed up. However, the problem persists. Another symptom seem to be a dead spot when the throttle is barely open. The engine speed will actually drop by 100-150 rpm when the throttle is feathered. Wade, You've covered lots of good ground, but I thought I should write to ask whether or not the idle speed is set too high. When the idle speed is set too high, the computer will cut out the injectors to make the rpms drop... then the rpms drop, and they cut back in... but the idle is set too high, so the computer cuts 'em out again... and so on. -Greg ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/
