But these are genuine VW heads from my 71 Fasty. I personally rebuilt them
with new guides and new VW valves all around. Only did a 3 angle valve job
to the seats. Only non-stock part of the heads are the springs. They are
bugpack hi-rev single springs.

Did not lap the cylinders in. Have never heard of doing that. I personally
resurfaced the head surface, though. The P&C are new. I was really
surprised by the amount of blow-by. Maybe will try lapping them in. Not
sure what else to do about that.

I will have to try to find another head. I think I will try to use this
head until the snow flies and I get my winter car out. Then I can redo this
engine again. 8^( OR at least the head.
