Re: [T3] poor emissions new update

<x-flowed>two new things to report on...
first i started pulling all the injector sockets, all had a noticable effect. then i started pulling the plug wires at the cap all had an effect, then i got to the last one (no. 4 but i'm not sure) and the metal (brass?) soket on the wire was retreated into the rubber elbow. it looks like it got pushed in there and has been jumping a spark ever since (but i did notice the engine change so it has been getting at leat partial spark for a while). it was covered in blue deposites and is now discolored. the rest of the wires were still very shiney. i had to stop the engine to fix it, and when i started it back up, i noticed no change.

second...
i have a hose running from the pass. fuel rail to something that looks like an injector inder the air dist. i think i read somewhere that they only hooked a cold start valve to this rail. but it doesn't look like any cold start setup i have seen in picks. i snapped some shots and just uploaded them.

they are kinda dark, but it looks like a regular fuel injector. i unplugged the socket for it, and the engine did not noticably change, but i *think* i did not smell so much of a fuel smell from the exhaust anymore. maybe just wishfull thinking.
could this injector be faulty or something?

when the engine is cool tomorrow, i plan on checking the plugs.
my fuel economy is right aroun 25mpg. sounds pretty good to me (better than my 96 subaru outback). i did replace all the injector seals and plastic mounts, along with one injector when i got her (about 6mo. ago). all the injectors looked good. not perfect spray, but none leaked and all looked good.
