Hot VW has an article on this case in the current issue. It was a report on one of the off-road racers engine. Sounds pretty good, if all the machining problems have been resolved. I guess there really wasn't problems, just a few small areas that needed attention? Air-cooled.net has them also, and John is offering a guarantee!! They are a bit heavier, but claim to be stronger (makes sense) and last longer. John- Are these new AL cases all up to par now? I have not talked to anyone that has used one yet.
