According to Toby's experiences, the S&S header does not clear the lower tin, and they don't seem to be interested in fixing they're design. Toby also stated that their header is the only true merged setup big enough for the 2L range. He had his reworked by a local exhaust shop. I saw it at Parma, and was very impressed. I believe it is the 1-5/8 setup, so maybe they have a smaller header that clears the lower tin. I think Berg used to have a type3 header also; maybe they still offer it.
