	I bought Type III front and rear add-on bars via the EMPI catalog
in 1991 at a VWFLAPS in L.A.  They came boxed in EMPI boxes.  The front
clamps on to the lower trailing arms just like the Beetle bars. 

	Neither the front nor the rear are chromed.
