<x-charset iso-8859-1> Steve- My rotors and drums are re-drilled with the Porsche pattern, and the studs are the threaded type (not the press-in style ) The rims are 15x6 cookie cuttters..right now I am running 195/50/15 at all four corners with the front adjusted one spline, I am looking at going to a 205/50/15 for the rear and possibly a 175/50/15 for the front (so I can bring the front down more) The tires do not rub , i can turn the steering wheel almost all the way before it rubs on the inside. The car tracks like a slot car...the wheels were added just about 4 weeks before Parma , so I had no real idea how it would handle the freeway, but it did great. Here are the things that I learned during this process of putting them on the car..... ......The studs needed are 13mmX13mm , you may have to really look for them as they are not easy to find (they were 2.00 each once I found them) ......Make sure you have the correct lugnuts, steel ones may work ,but you really need the alloy ones ( I was able to get them for 5.00 each in black---the polished ones were 9.00 each ! ) The bad-- My car is a 69 IRS car and the axles (the treaded ends) are so long that I can't run the center caps on the back wheels because it stop the cap from fitting correctly. I need to figure out a solution to this , some have said to run a spacer between the wheel and the drum, but the gap is way to big to add a spacer safely, I think I will just have to grind the axle end down to make this work. Now this really isn't a bad thing, but was something i hadn't thought of.. Now I need a traction bar , I have only attempted two Burn outs....One on dry road....(not a good thing) and once in a bit of water...nice... The bigger tires have a very large contact with the road.... If you have other questions let me know. When I get some time I will post the installation process on my website : www.T3junkie.homestead.com But It was all worth it in the long run, I really like the way they look on the car.
