That was a true shame. I would fine them and/or take em into small claims. I mean you do have the proof. Give em a chance to pay you back and if they don't. then Mr. Officer should stop by. That is just very uncool. Plainly put. You of course shouldn't have to pay any damages or fines. But since you were the one holding the event I guess the reality is that you are responsible.
