Makes me wonder whether my car still has its original transmission. While putting it into reverse results in quite a noticeable "clunk", all the other changes seem very smooth. Compared to my ex-Ford Focus (2001 model), which had a homicidal gearchange, the Type 3 tranny seems quite civilised.
