Re: [T3] Jacobs Flexplate
<x-flowed>I believe I have the right gland nut. Its the skinny one with the hole in
the center. It has also driven fine for 7 years that I've had it. Do the
AT's lose pressure from the pump? Could that cause a torque convertor
imbalance? I'm trying to speculate as to what my car's problem's are.
Basically when the tranny gets hot/warm it has trouble accelerating from
stand-still. No problems accelerating at speed, though. Also when I click
the selector in Drive or Reverse it takes about a full second to actually
engage.

Make sure he has the right gland nut holding the drive plate on. The
only time I have seen them break, that is what the problem is. that or
an out of balance converter.
