<x-charset iso-8859-1>It is a 1969 Squareback with a little above stock height so I can do dirt roads, stock tires. Does not look cool as per darksiders tastes. I have an automatic transmission, on these trannys the final differential gear ratio is a bit taller so the engine turns slower at higher speeds so one can go faster. These trannys only have 3 speeds and make the car accelerate kind of slow but each gear can be kept longer; 1st gear can be held til 40 mph , 2nd til 60 and 3rd goes as fast as the engine is capable. I think the gear ratio is around 3.65:1 were as the standard tranny's are around 4.11:1 . Some friends of mine complain that their top speeds are limited to 55 to 65 depending on the tire diameter and final gear ratio. They will increase the top speeds of their cars by giving them a different final gear ratio. You can do this also but it will cost you some bucks. If you are into acceleration you will lose some by doing this since you will lose some low end take off torque, to correct this you can install a Gene Berg 5 speed tranny kit but will cost you more big bucks.
