That's what I thought too. . .until the Judge told me, "Young man, I was 
pulling 12's in Volkswagens before you were born.  And my son, who's about 
your age, has a drag car that runs 10's. So don't tell me what an old VW can 
and can not do." - Luckily the CHP officer wrote me up as "only" doing 80+ 
in a 75 mph zone. . .darn ticket hurt though.

Who'd think Volkswagen nuts are everywhere
