<x-flowed>i had a similar prob. nothing i did solved it, but then russ told me to 
replace my aftermarket SP wires. i got some new bosch one (for our cars they 
have a resister in them cor noise reduction) and it solved it. the noise 
from those empi wires kkilled the fuel injector signals. if you have after 
market wires, try putting the correct ones on.
