Whenever I hit the brakes I loose power to my radio. I've replaced the brushes in the generator and cleaned it per Muir. If I put it in neutral and give it a little gas while keeping my foot on the brake it comes back on. My idle is OK. Is there anything I can do to fix this? It sucks when you are in stop and go traffic and keep hearing the beginning of the same song over and over again (I'm using MP3s). I've considered boosting my idle speed but that doesn't really appeal to me. Does anyone make a slightly smaller pulley for the generator?
