I just use a little switch from Radio Shack and mount it on a small scrap of alum sheet that I attached under one of the bolts that holds the steering column to the firewall (or something under there. To run the pump, I have to turn the key ON and then reach under the dash and push the button. I can hold it as long as I like and it is interesting to hear the pump run and the air bubble up thru the gas tank.
