If it is bubbling out between the cooler and the case then it is most 
likely the rubber seals. On a FI engine you have to remove the left 
intake runners and the cooling tin to get to the cooler.  

The most common problem here is getting the wrong seals. There 
are 3 different ones used on type 3s and they are often confused. I 
have a writeup on this if you want a copy.
