Got it fixed. It was gas. I couldn't smell it because it was leaking while I was driving, and I must have gotten used to the smell. I could definitely smell it when I went to my car to leave. Made a 12" puddle in about 14 seconds... yikes! And the problem was... The return fuel line! Yeah for Robb, well partly. It wasn't blocked, the E-brake cable sawed a very long notch into it, and it must have started leaking a day or two ago. I suspect it just got huge when I went to lunch today. It is amazing how a 15 minute fix took me 3 hours to do because I couldn't find any 7.5mm fuel line anywhere. Another guy was happy to argue with me and sell me the wrong size, so that wasted time. I didn't therefore get to work on any of the other problems. I'll be taking a look at all of the suggestions through the week and the weekend. Thanks for all of the help on this one! Glad I had so many suggestions about what to look for, if it hadn't been so easy to spot once under the car... I really would have needed them. There are two fluids that run in the tunnel, brake fluid and gas, clear and hard to smell would be brake fluid, gas just smells like gas, don't know how else to explain gas. Let us know which one it is. Phil __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
