<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hmm, so you're saying that the lower port (the one that points straight forward) is in fact the pump inlet? I tried that the first time I tried starting the car (last Friday) and got a bunch of bubbles coming through the fuel pump. I'll try it again, and I'll prime it like you suggest. It has also been suggested to me that the fuel pump pushrod currently in the car might be too short. I hope its one of these two things; I know I'm getting pretty good flow through the coffee can setup. I'm also going to pre-fill the carb float bowls to see if the rebuilds worked.
