<x-charset iso-8859-1>A few squirts of Marvel Mystery Oil into the cylinders freed up the motor the rest of the way, and now it turns over. The battery will need to be boosted when the time comes to try and fire this thing up. I was also able to rebuild one of the carbs, and get the other one apart before the rains came and stopped work for the day. If all goes well, I'll have this thing ready to start on Monday or Tuesday, weather permitting. On a related note, being a '68 model Fastback, it should have fuel injection. I'm going to run (at least in the short term) dual Solex carbs. The car has a brand new main wiring harness, which is also for an F.I. equipped car. My question is, how do I need to wire in the idle cut-offs and electric chokes? I do not want to splice into this new main harness, so unless one of the free connectors (undoubtedly meant to power the ECU or something) I need ot run separate wires from somewhere to power these items. When should they be on, and what should I connect to to make these items work? My Bentley covers the F.I. cars only.
