The main problem in converting from AT to MT is that there is usually no clutch cable tube in the AT pans. You should check however as some people here think they have seen AT pans that DO have the tubes. An Austrailian AT pan might be a good candidate for this. Check also the rear subframe mounts for the transmission to see if it will accept the MT.
