I'm sure that the '68 that served as the starting point for this discussion is "as nice as" most non-restored Type IIIs that you'd find in the UK (or in salty parts of the US), but here in a sunnier climate there are many other "nicer" non-restored, beat, tired, *unrusted* Type IIIs available for reasonable sums. In that light, the pictured '68 is not a "nice" car. Out of the last one or two dozen unrestored Type IIIs I've seen driving around town, none have been in as "poor" shape as this "nice" '68, if you take my meaning.
