I understand I will be bolting up IRS suspension... am I limited on discs or drums by this? =================================================== Yeah , I have heard that the front mounts are different, I assume you are staying with a manual tranny. The 1969 pan should have the IRS suspension included , it was made for it. If the pan came with the front beam/suspension assembly, you can use the disc brake setup that came with it . You must use the master cylinder that is made for the disc brake setup. If you wish to use your old beam with front drums you will need to keep your old type master cylinder. You may end up with a five bolt front drum setup and a rear 4 bolt IRS, this may not be desireable, different rims and odd brake setup. You can still use your old beam but you may have to swap the arms and the brake/spindle setup. Can anyone out there please correct me if I am wrong ?
