I was in Austin a few times in the 80s and actually stopped in there once. I met "Glenn" who was the used parts foreman and showed me around a bit. It looked like they had quite a bit of stuff, but he said there was virtually no demand for type 3 parts. I wish I could have proven him wrong by buying a bunch of stuff, but I was flying home the next day and really didn't need anything (kind of like "carrying coals to Newcastle.")
