I was at Barnes and Noble last night paging through a Hot VWs mag and I saw that suspension technologies (I think) makes urethane bump stops for type 3s. I was thinking that would be a nice addition, considering my square is missing them :) Take care, Charles Navarro LN Engineering http://www.LNengineering.com Aircooled Precision Performance -----Original Message----- From: Marc Bona [mailto:chillz1@angelfire.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2002 10:19 PM To: Type 3 Mailing List Subject: [T3] Front suspension bump stops....NLA I phoned Motorworks today to ask them of an expected date of arrival of the ellusive bump stops. The salesman informed me that they are no longer available. The company who was making them ( in Belize, he said), has stopped making them and as I found out on their website, Motorworks has none left in stock. If this is truly the end of the last resource of these things, then I think it would be a good time to start thinking of other options for these bump stops. Every type 3 I have ever seen has at least the upper ones disintegrated. Again if anyone out there has another source, or any adaptation idea, drop me a note via e-mail.
