Russ Wolfe and I are working a route to Parma from the Midwest. Think I there is a fairly obvious route from SE Michigan to Parma that goes through Des Moines, Iowa. Russ has volunteered his place near there as one of the gathering points. Right now I know Bob and Sue from Port Huron, MI, Jim Adney, Russ and I are planning on going. Keith Park is also planning on coming from NY. Are there others from the Upper Midwest or points east that are thinking about going? Russ and I are going to put together a proposed route map with stopping point along the way. Would be good to hear from any locals near the stopping points with suggestions on places to stay, etc. My trip is just under 2000 miles. I am thinking 500 miles per day for days. SHould make for roughly 10 hour days or so. Could push it a bit harder and maybe make it in two days from Russ's, but that would be about 750 miles per day. Might be a bit of a rough pace.
