My info says that 62 engines with 3 notches on the pulley should be timed to the right notch, which is 12.5 deg. The three notches are 7.5, 10, and 12.5 deg BTDC. Do this statically or with the vacuum hose disconnected. Extra advance usually helps hesitation, but you ALSO MUST make sure that your vacuum advance is working properly. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
