i'm rebuilding my engine and so that i can wait as long as possible to strip my old one down for the parts to put on the new longblock, and i just had an idea. there's a thrashed '65 or '66 down at the local parts yard and it still has the engine. can i just buy the engine from them and use all those tin and shroud peices? i think could get the whole thing pretty cheap, they don't know what they've got. how much changed right before '67? (i mean little things that might make it not cool as well) also, that might allow me to have an extra "turn-key" engine laying around if i can get my old engine figured out while my new 1776 is running in my car. just in case it matters, it is an "S" model with all the cool trim peices (well, it used to have them...), but i don't think the engine was any different, right? thanks, Dan Hoopes '67 Square, "Stanley" Provo, UT _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
