Hey all, Well, finally got the tranny & engine back in. After examining the old transmission, it's a wonder it ever ran. The Throw-out bearing only had one clip, there was no grease in the CV Joints, and the nose cone mounting holes were expanded about twice their size. (If I could just get my hands on the P/O.) Anyways, it's all in and I have 4 very nice forward moving gears, however I've only been able to get it into reverse 3 out of 50 tries. I know the tranny is good, and I replaced the shift-coupler already. My guess is that it is my SCAT shifter. One of my friends always complains about his popping out of reverse. . .anybody else experience any problems with the SCAT shifter? I was thinking of throwing in a stock shifter when I get off work, think it'll work? I'll let you all know if it does or not.
