The problem here is that you are not likely to find anyone who is really familiar with your car, so it takes them longer to find the problem and do the work, assuming you manage to find someone who is willing to even try. This is really a tough problem, and the only REAL solution is to slowly educate yourself by trying things and asking questions here. As to the interior light, I would examine the fuses. It is likely that they bumped one and the fuse element is now cracked. This may not be obvious. Another possibility is that the lens has been "rocked" to the rear position which disables it.
