This may not bother you, depending on the weather where you live, but I haven't found the Firestones much good in the wet; otherwise they last well and do what tyres are supposed to do. My experience of Dunlops was some dreadful D8s, which lasted about 9000 miles and never had grip wet or dry. I've currently got Continentals, which seem okay, but I haven't yet done enough mileage to gain a good or bad impression. In the UK most tyre shops only want to sell budget Korean tyres in "our" size anyway, so we have to put up with whatever we can get. Sounds like you have a bit more choice on your side of the Pond.
