We had 6 type III's all together at the Crystal Lake, IL show! Thanks to all that came out. Jim, sorry you did not make it all the way home :( I will have the pictures up on my site later in the week! Also one of the swap vendors was there selling his T1 stuff to fund the T3 he has at home (just 10 minutes from the show.) The cars definitely ran the whole range, all types, all conditions. From the 73 (born in June) square with 5000. original miles, to the 65 notch that was just barely saved from a field recently : ) Everyone complemented on how nice it was to see "all the Type 3's!" We even took back roads from show to picnic at my house, nice 20 minute drive, no traffic! Picnic was good, and I think we will try this again at the Effingham show next June, (meeting at Charles parts warehouse! Right Charles? ) John, I would like to see picture's of Late fastback, for rag-top (would also like to talk with owner, are you out there.) I was able to show off my bending glass trick to Shad and group on my FB at the picnic also, gotta love it! John R.
