A little more information on this. I contacted a friend who's "in the know" about this place and this is what he said: " the vast majority of the stuff up there is utter crap. there are some useful items of a mechanical nature, but the really good bright shiny stuff is long gone. rumor is that kona paid 60k for that pile of crap. I wouldn't haul it all away for less than 5k (that is how much they would have to pay me) he would be lucky if he could sell 10k out of the whole shitteree. and that would take about 10k in effort to sell that much. if he was selling $200 truckloads I would fill up a couple times with mechanical type goods. I have went up there several times to try and buy stuff and he doesn't know what he wants for stuff or just plain won't sell it. he is a fool. he needs to be selling whatever he can for whatever he can get for it. as jack bruck said "if you can't instantly name a price for an item, you shouldn't be in the business" I went up there three times last week and twice the week before and kona was never around. I think that if you want to check out the stuff it would be wise to email him and set up an appointment. I wouldn't get your hopes up of either finding anything good or even being able to buy anything that you find (good or mediocre)" So if you're interested in this auction, bid accordingly.
