I've found some time to work on Phillip this weekend. This may
sound funny, but I set up a picnic blanket on the lawn next to the
car so my wife and son's could participate. Quality family time with
a newborn at home!
Two weeks ago I fixed a stuck needle valve (?) and Sat. I followed
up checking timing and balancing carbs. I was hoping to find
something off to explain the off idle hesitation, but nothing stood
out. Maybe that darn 009 dizzy?
Today's work was trying to turn off the heat in the right heater
box. I've tried this before, but today decided that the cable is too
short and must have been cut and jury rigged sometime. The left cable
has a crimped on adjusting rod, and the right has a replaceable (via
set screw) adjusting rod. This is the too short one. The question is
where to get replacement cables, RMMW shows only 67 and up.
