Using a T-1 engine is not recommended in a T-3.
The T-1 engine is sealed between (sorta) in the engine compartment. It then
draws it's cooling air through the louvers below the rear window.
The T-3 engine requires that it's cooling air be drawn in through the louvers
on the rear quarters through the air intake boot above the muffler. With a
T-1 engine in a T-3, It will sucks in hot air from around the whole engine,
and this is not good, as most of this air is already warm, especially in slow
moving traffic.
Therefore your Hot T-1 engine will get even hotter.
