I have a long-block for my 66 fastback and am getting ready to strip
everything off of my old motor, clean it all up, and switch it over. My
experience is mostly with type1's so this will be new for me. Cant find
a bentley for 66 type 3 (bummer), but have the idiot book and clymer.
I'll probably get a Haynes as well unless anyone out there knows of
something better? It has dual carbs, and I'm wondering if the original
oil bath air cleaner is the best set up? I'm keeping the 6 volt system
but will probably have the generator and starter rebuilt just to be on
the safe side. I might be
looking for an exhuast system with original type muffler. Anyone know
where to find one? Thanks, Steve
