Re: [T3] I want aT34

<x-charset iso-8859-1>I know a fellow in the San Jose, Ca area that has a Type 34 for sale. It is
stored in a dry warehouse. He claims that he has all of the NOS rubber
required to restore the car, plus many trim pieces and the like. I have seen
the car and it is definitely a project. But there are several boxes of new
parts stored in/on it (I've only seen a sample of the contents). I believe
he wants $2,000 for everything, but I'd have to verify. The seller is a nice
guy and very knowledgeable about vintage VWs. He does not want to separate
the parts from the car -- everything goes as one lot.

If you are REALLY SERIOUS about buying it, send me your telephone number and
I will ask him to call you. I am not endorsing the sale of this car nor
would I receive anything if he sold it (well, maybe lunch), I just though
the list members should learn about it.

Best wishes with all your projects,

- Todd
