There was a company making type 4 crankshafts with the type 1/3 nose fitting
for use in aircraft, as most propellors for VW-engined a/c have the Type1
fitting. I'm not sure what would be the point of fitting the T3 fan to the
T4 motor in a car/ trike though. Could be useful for a T4 into T1
upright-fan conversion?
