There are inside louvers by the side of the rear windows. Those drains exit inside the rear fender by the tail lights. You have to pull the light assemblies to get at it. My '71 FB was/is the same way. I removed the tail lights, and adapted a piece of 1/4" copper tubing to an air gun and used my air compressor to blow them out. There is some foam inside that window piller to keep engine noise from coming back into the passengers compartment. This foam adsorbs moisture, and causes the rust you have. -- Russ Wolfe '71 Fastback AT '66 Fastback MT (IT RUNS) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
