Hey mike, I have a suggestion. Use rivets. All you need is a $20 rivet gun, a drill with the same size as the rivet and a piece of sheet metal big enough to cover the hole. I like this because you can drill out the rivets and then completely and thoughoughly fix the problem when the weather is better. I know how it can be with a hole in the pan during the winter. That can be very lame. I had a subaru the had a hole right behind the drivers side front tire. So pretty much where my feet are.
