<x-charset iso-8859-1>Speaking as someone with the worst track record for brake bleeding, I finally came up with a technique that is easy, cheap, visible, makes sense, and works. Use a LONG hose attached to the bleed nipple and run the hose UP immediately and over the tire to a handy glass jar. The bubbles we are all trying get rid of go UP and away from the nipple so they won't get sucked back into the cylinder. With the line on the outside of the tire, you can see it easier. Let gravity start the process and fill the lower end of the tube before pumping the brakes.
