Done any other way would leave you wishing you had just painted them in a couple of years. Chroming is NOT just a matter of dipping the part in a bath and turning on the juice. Commercial items, like motorcycle exhaust pipes are done on dedicated lines where LOTS of money has been spent on shaped anodes to assure complete coverage of the pipe. You can't afford that kind of treatment. Zinc plating on the other hand is relatively easy, but still won't get in all the places that the chrome also misses. Just stick with a good paint. - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Search old messages on the Web!
