RE: [T3] turn signal switch

<x-charset iso-8859-1>The '67's have the dimmer switch end of the arm.
I love that switch, I don't have to remember or
flail around to find the high/low switch. It's
always in the same place. I've groused at every
vehicle I've owned since I got the Sqbk in '78,
since I love that feature. The only better high/low
switch is the floor mount. Gives your left foot
something to do, when not shifting. Easier to
dim/bright on corners with the foot switch than
the turn signal mounted ones, tougher when shifting
with a manual tranny though.

One can flash high/low really, really fast with
the '67 style switch, it definitely gets people's
attention!

Garage is almost cleaned out enough to get the Sqbk
in there to start working on it!!! Soon, baby, soon . . .

The early switches had the dimmer button on the end of the arm, but in the
later ones, the whole lever was the dimmer switch. The reason for change was
that the wires going out to that switch had a tendency to break with all the
T/S movement. It was a pain in the _ss.
