<x-flowed>This question is mainly for Leon As he has told me some crazy things he can do with a Pressure sensor.. ya know that crazy thing with 4 wires going to it on the left side of the engine compartment.!? anyways. I am about to go do my emissions and I just had a valve job about 500 miles ago and i have around 2200 miles on my new engine i built all by myself. but when i start it in the morning i get some white smoke as i drive off and once it warms up this goes away. when i had the emissions done a few weeks ago I could barely pass if i helf the engine around 2250 rpm (the minimum) and it is pretty hard to get the engine to stay at that rpm long enough to get through the test. but my CO is too high.. it jumps up if i hit the 2500 rpm range.. so am i burning oil? running too rich?? this engine is bone stock except for the pistons, i have bowled pistons. that was stock on some models. and all stock FI. Leon told me he could mess with his Air fuel mixture by tweaking his pressure sensor. yes, i would have to de-virginize one of mine. scary. but i need this car to pass emisssions dang it. Runs Great. can go REally fast on teh freeway if i want it to 75+ Eazy with pedal left. can someone help?? one thing.. you guys probably remember i fried my "blue wire" that goes to the (G) light on the dash. got a new one in. just dandy. works. all is good all shorts fixed i thought. now get this.. my (g) light comes on realllly dim when i press the brakes and blinkers etc and gets brighter the more power i consume.. but voltage is nice everywhere Halogen lights are bright dash lights are bright stereo working fine radar detector fine etc.. lol anyways.. it dims.. i found a few cuts in the wire i had put in that were sorting on my seat rail as i had no carpet installed. i do now.. lol and my parcel tray is in also. sweet. but the dimming thing buggs me.. could it be from the brake system?? i think it could but it can happen if i just turn on all the lights and the blinkers.. so maybe that rules it out??? maybe there is some resistance down there?? maybe my regulator is going out? my car does that buckking thing too at 55-65 mph once in a while.. i think my throttle position sensor is old though.. not sure can someone help me out?? car runs and starts and goes fine no dead battery.. etc.. any ideas?? Please reply direct. you can post to the list. someone else may find it interesting too.. Sorry so long but i need to address this stuff before winter.. oh yea.. i have some pinholes on my front quarters.. right in front of the door where it opens.. the lower rear of the front fender closest to the door. any idea on how to fill and fix without cutting nice german metal??
