<x-charset iso-8859-1>> Who out there was going to try fiberglass > mesh/POR for small hole repair?? Any results?? Fibreglass cloth is great for getting a nice smooth shape on compound curves. I use it with normal resin, but maybe Por-15 would work fine. The stuff about the thickness of a handkerchief is particularly useful as it is strong and thin, and you can hide it under paint with a thin skim of bondo (or maybe a coat of Por-15). Of course, you could use body solder on a weld repair, but that's a bit wasted on a non-structural out of sight mend. If you want more strength, the thicker mat is better, but needs more hiding.
