Thanks for your input Jim.... sounds reasonable to me. I think we should all chip in and get Jim a 12 volt electric driver seat warmer for those peddle to the floor hard starting mornings. :+) I lived in Sand Point, Idaho for a few years and I know of what you speak, those wonderfully "BRISK" mornings that the 10-30 weight cranks like sludge. In Germany several years back my 1950 bug was a real challenge to even crank over some mornings. We had to use boiling water in BIG pans under the engine to get the 6 volt starter to even get to crank speed. Those 25 hp engines were a real challenge at times.
