[T3] Should you or should'nt you? That is the question.

Hello,
i was reading this past weekend my newly aquired elfrink fuel injection
manual and i came across something odd. It states that when you start
your car you should have the gas pedal pressed to the floor. Is this
correct? I could see this for carb cars but fuel injected ones? Any of
you old school dudes out there have an opinion on this?
